"I was absolutely delighted at the way the Blues Brothers evening went. The music and entertainment was fantastic and everyone complimented me on it. They all had a brilliant time. It also attracted lots of people so we made a really good sum of money for my charity. I was amazed at your cartwheels- very energetic even after the fish and chips- real John Belushi stuff."

"On September 9th 2006 my wife and I had THE ALL NEW BLUES BROTHERS REVUE play at our wedding. We hadn’t actually heard them play prior to booking them but we were assured by a friend that they were an excellent tribute act. She wasn’t lying!! These guys meant business…they really were the real deal. Vocally fantastic, visually convincing and all round the complete package!! If you want to book an act that will ensure a whole night of live music, dancing and well spirited comedy…..these are the guys for you!!! I said to them on the night and I quote “that was some of the best money I have ever spent”. Book them NOW and enjoy."

Supporting Dave Finnegan's Commitments, El Teatro Municipal, Torrevieja, Spain, April 23rd 2011

Review : The Leader Newspaper, Costa Blanca.

Ken Taylor

They were dancing in the aisles at The Municipal Theatre in Torrevieja on Saturday night! This was a brand new venue for Heatwave Promotions and something of an unknown quantity but there was no need to worry; the whole evening was a complete triumph.

Heatwave Promotions had flown a top Blues Brothers Tribute Show in from the UK to support the headline act from Ireland, Dave Finnegan's Commitments. The highly expectant audience were not disappointed and were up on their feet dancing within the first few numbers. Ever keen to provide the best value for money that they possibly can, Heatwave Promotions had engaged this fantastic tribute to The Blues Brothers for a one hour set and it flew by as they treated the audience to one hit after another.

There was barely time to get your breath back before Dave Finnegan and his superb 8 piece band took to the stage. Finnegan played drummer Mickah Wallace in the 1991 classic movie, The Commitments and it was clear from the reception that he received that the majority of the audience were big fans of the movie, the man and the music. The set ran almost two hours and included every one of the tracks from one of the most famous movie soundtracks in history.

The sound quality in this superb venue was spot on and two minor hitches with the equipment were swiftly and expertly resolved, detracting not at all from the enjoyment of the fans.It was good to see such a cosmopolitan audience too. This was thanks in part to the universal appeal of both acts and also to the involvement of the Torrevieja Town Hall with the advertising and promotion of the event.
